When No One Claps for You

When No One Claps for You

"Your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." — Matthew 6:4

There are seasons that are quiet and still. Seasons where I am alone or at least I feel alone.

I have to remind myself that there is value in the mundane and the day to day. There is value in being faithful to God even in the quietest of times.

It can be easier to draw close to the Lord in seasons where we see great blessings. And depending it can even be easier to lean into God during the troublesome times when we feel completely broken.

But what about the in between. All the moments where it seems nothing is going on. It feels like we are just living day to day and it can even feel unremarkable.

I have been in the in between, I have not felt abundantly blessed nor have I felt completely broken as I have before. I am just here day by day. Fighting my flesh, and understanding that especially in these times I need Jesus.

What does my faith look like in these seasons. The world doesn't see me, but God does.

God continues to be faithful and shape me, and my duty is to be obedient to Him.

Continue to pray as the Lord sees and hears.

Carry out what you are called to do, it is important.

The recognition may not ever come while we are here on earth, but that is not why we do it. We do it for our Heavenly Father. We do it as our souls strive to be closer to the Lord.

I continue to pray, I continue to read the word I practice gratitude and I invite the Lord into every moment that I can.

I remember that it is an incredible blessing to wake up everyday, to still be here to carry out what God has called you to do.

There is a quiet kind of obedience that no one celebrates.

No applause.
No acknowledgment.
No visible reward.

Just you… and God.

These are the moments that stretch your faith the most when you choose integrity without recognition, when you show up without affirmation, when you keep going without anyone noticing.

It can feel discouraging. Even lonely.

You may wonder: Does this even matter? Does anyone see me?

Yes.
He does.

God specializes in hidden places.

Before there was a crown, there was wilderness.
Before there was ministry, there was obscurity.
Before there was impact, there was quiet obedience.

The world measures success by visibility.
God measures it by faithfulness.

Every unseen act of obedience is a seed.

Every time you choose kindness when it goes unnoticed…
Every time you pray when no one hears…
Every time you resist giving up…

He sees it all.

Nothing is wasted in the Kingdom.

When no one claps for you, heaven still records it.
When no one affirms you, God is still pleased.
When no one notices, your roots are growing deeper.

And roots matter more than applause.

Because applause fades.
But deep roots sustain you.

There will come a time when what was done in secret begins to bear fruit in the open, but that is not the goal.

The goal is Him.

To be known by God is far greater than being celebrated by people.

So today, keep going.

Show up in the hidden place.
Stay faithful in the quiet.
Honor God when no one is watching.

Because the truest success is not being seen by the world…
It is being seen and known by Him.
